ANTOINETTE CHRISTOPHER

Antoinette “Pookie” Christopher was born January 2, 1957 to Allen Bryant and Mary Jones. She was educated at Megio High School in Nashville, TN. She later moved to Gary, IN where she was united in holy matrimony to the late Ernest Spye. She later was united in holy matrimony to the late Willie Christopher.

Antoinette loved God. She loved to entertain and had a passion for stepping. She touched many hearts throughout her journey. She enjoyed life until her course was finished.

Antoinette was preceded in death by both of her husbands, her father, her brother (Timothy Fuller), her daughter (LaToya Davis) and brothers-in-law (Jerry Bond and Darryl Golder).

She leaves to cherish her memories; daughters, Tameka (Willie) Frazier and Angela Spye-Blackwell; son, Ernest (Jennifer)  Spye, Jr.; Grandchildren, Takema, Bishop, Willie 5, Samuel, Artecia, Chanetrice, JaQuan, Chenera, JaShann, JaWaun, Ernest, Khalia, Diamond, De’Jon and Destiny; greatgrandchildren, Kendell, Zhylynn, Zamora, Ava, Jaquan, Jaiden, Legend, Anila and Jamani; Goddaughter, T’Neshwa Teamer; mother, Mary Jones; sisters, JoAnn Bond, Patricia Fuller and Theola Marion-Golder; special friends, Jennifer Gunn, Milbry Frey, Mary Sullivan, Markeeta Harris and Gary Moore and a host of countless loved ones, including family, extended family and friends.
